What an amazing night it has been!!! Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Jack Markell....We have many reasons to be optimistic about our country's, and our State's future.
I am very excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve our State and the 4th Senate District. So many people from so many places volunteered and helped make this election victory a reality. It is not possible to thank you all enough. Each and every individual truly made the difference.
While we face great challenges in our State, this is a time of great optimism and hope for what we can achieve. We have the opportunity to unify, and to come together as a community, not as Republicans, Democrats, or Independents, but as Delawareans. And I know that under Governor Markell's leadership, our State and our citizens will rise to new levels to accomplish amazing things
We have a terrific community. I have had the opportunity to meet so many decent and hard working people during this campaign. I am thankful that I have the privilege of living here and of getting to know so many terrific people.
I promise that I will work hard, with honesty and integrity for our district, and for our State. I will always make the needs of our community the top priority.
And now, I will take a few days break to spend a bit of time with my family....and then to the real work at hand!! I will follow up soon!!
